The Badonkadonk Defense

Trace Adkins's songs are misogynistic and in some ways homophobic but entirely heterosexist.  He appeared on the Celebrity Apprentice and was kissed by Piers on the cheek.  His reaction is homophobic but yet still professional.  The only key to what he was thinking is on body language and Trump's brief discussion with him.

Otherwise his song "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" is objectifying to women and places them as body pieces to be ogled by men.  And apparently they are supposed to be enjoying it.  He also has a line about "slapping your grandma" which apparently is slang for something or another. Urban Dictionary defines it as: "A phrase that means that something is so good that you're awestruck by it to the point where you're so disoriented that you might mistakenly slap your grandmother." But still, given that I heard this song in high school, maybe even middle school and urban dictionary's main example comes from that song, it is not a far stretch for people to take it more literally.  The song just pins Trace as being a pig.

Rough and Ready is a song about hegemonic masculinity and the redneck lifestyle.  Trace is establishing his own sexuality and gender as a strict heterosexual masculine man.  "Pretty boy" is used in the song in a similar fashion as the word "gay" or "fag."
